Background

Previously employed as a mechanical engineer in the United Kingdom construction industry, Paul entered the insurance profession in 1991 working as an engineer surveyor for a leading engineering insurer. He made the move into the adjusting profession in 1996 when he took on the role of Technology Product Manager for a UK chartered loss adjusting firm. Paul joined McLarens International Group in 1998.

Paul has been resident in Saudi Arabia since 1998. Based in the city of Al Khobar he has fulfilled the roles of Eastern Province Manager and Regional Engineer and has overseen development of McLarens Young’s operations in those areas.

During his time in Saudi Arabia Paul has worked throughout the Arabian Gulf region and has gained extensive major loss and account experience in heavy property, construction, utility and energy losses together with their associated Business Interruption claims. In 2006 Paul was promoted to Engineering Manager for McLarens Young's operations in our Middle East South Asia Africa (MESAA) region.
